Impressions | Maria Stuarda for BKB Charity
The current tour of the Junge Oper Rhein-Main opera group came to an end with a grand finale in Rüsselsheim’s municipal theatre. The piece in question was the bel canto classic opera of “Maria Stuarda” by Gaetano Donizetti – a masterpiece full of drama and tonal beauty which is based on the fateful story of Mary, Queen of Scots.
This season again, the non-profit organisation Junge Oper Rhein-Main has supported the BKB Charity initiative with a total of five performances in four different German states. This is a fabulous example of people joining forces in a show of cultural, social and humanitarian solidarity.
